We are currently seeking a passionate Head of Diverse Learning to join our OLMC community. This is a permanent full-time role to commence immediately, with, however, a negotiable start date.  

 

Our Diverse Learning Faculty supports and develops the capacity of students across the College. As the head of the faculty, this role leads a team of Diverse Learning Teachers and Support Assistants. Each Diverse Learning Teacher leads a particular stage (4-6), collaborating and coaching subject teachers to develop strategies to effectively ensure the learning needs of all students in the classroom are met as well as ensuring the College delivers a comprehensive and integrated approach.

 

About You:

  • Experience in teaching to Stage 6
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills that support and challenge teachers to engage in transforming learning
  • Experience in mentoring teaching staff in collaborative curriculum planning and cooperative teaching
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative, organisational and collaborative working skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and approval to teach in NSW
  • Ability to support the Catholic mission and Mercy values of the College and participatein the life of the College
  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance
